BIOGRAPHY

Nineteenth Century came together in Liverpool in the summer of 2003 with the aim of creating a great rock band. The band focused their energies on creating a definitive contemporary sound whilst drawing upon classic influences from the great bands of the 60s and 70s. The band is continuously writing and recording and in April 2005 recorded a four track E.P. with producer Ronnie Stone. The tracks move between explosive dynamics and killer hooks and are currently receiving airplay from radio stations around the U.K. and abroad. KERRANG, BBC, Total Rock, XM, WIRE FM, PULSE RATED, WAVE FM. Nineteenth Century were voted best new rock act 2005 by KERRANG FM. In July 2005 the track SHAKE was chosen out of 10,000 artists to be one of 6 rock tracks pre loaded onto 1 million LOGIK MP3 players widely available throughout the U.K. Went on a major tour with FOZZY from November 2005 till February 2006 and are continuously touring venues all over the U.K. and abroad including BLOODSTOCK ROCK FESTIVAL, ACOUSTIC FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN 2006 and ATLANTIS MUSIC FESTIVAL, Atlanta.
